Ingredients
- 4 cod fillets
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- 1 teaspoon Badia Lemon Pepper seasoning
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
- Lemon wedges, for serving
Method
- Pat cod fillets dry and season both sides with Badia Lemon Pepper seasoning, lemon zest, and a pinch of salt.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the cod fillets.
- Sear the cod for 3-4 minutes on one side until golden and crisp.
- Carefully flip the fillets.
- Add butter and lemon juice to the skillet. Baste the cod by spooning the melted butter mixture over the fillets as they cook for another 3-4 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
- Remove from heat and garnish with fresh parsley.
- Serve with lemon wedges for an extra citrus kick.
